I thought it took the surface simplicity that I loved so much and buried beneath a bunch of complications and hassles to set up individual patterns and tracks in a way that limits a lot of free thinking during the arrangements of your patterns.NOTE: Reverb is one of those effects that is easy to overdo in a mix, creating a washed out and muddy sound.
Go into "options", "general settings" then click on "enable legacy pattern blocks" Its a shame that they are making them obsolete, because if I have to re-install FL in the future, and the only version they have doesn't have the pattern blocks, I'll have to consider getting a new DAW, cause I can't work without them.Unknown User : Tue 19th Jul 2011 : 10 years agoDitto Mahloo. However they are great fun to mess about with, even if you don't use them in the final product, and they can be used on other peoples acapellas too.I also hated FL10 when I first downloaded it due to the lack of pattern blocks, but there is a way to fix this. Newtone allows you to manually adjust each individual note.From what I've used Newtone and Pitcher for, they are both excellent plugins, however I lack confidence in my voice and, more importantly, lyrics, and so I rarely ever record them.
